It’s been about 6 months that I last posted anything here. It’s been a very hectic and interesting period of my life. God has been faithful and I believe He has been preparing me for a greater future. Even though I do not see it, I believe it and I am waiting for the manifestation of his glory in my life.
Hmn………………I got a text from a brother in the course of this week on Matthew 6: 10a and I was struck as if I never heard it before now.
Matthew 6: 10a “Thy Kingdom come”
What does this mean? It means that God the King, your King, my King should take His throne in our heart, life, marriage, home, family, work, office and land.
How many of the facets of your life have you allowed him to rule? Is he really the King of your heart, life, marriage, home, family, relationships, work, office, etc? Can you profess that His Kingdom has come in your life and situation? It is time to consider it and indeed let His Kingdom come.
You are blessed!

It’s a lovely day! Sure the Lord’s been good to you.
He’s been good to me and I stand today to say that he is faithful and when we think He is not then we need to look inwards. This is because His word is ever true and He will not deny His word and His name. I listened severally to a message this week and the fact that God guides us on a day to day basis struck me more than ever before. God is always there to ensure that all things work together for our good only if we rely on Him and not lean on our own understanding. After that understanding I committed myself to pray on a regular (more than just daily) basis for God’s direction and friend it has been awesome. God proved himself faithful on my behalf every step of the way. I don’t even know what and what to say but I can assure you that God is ready to help us if we will allow Him. His word says and I quote ‘cast all your cares upon me for I care for you’. Do you really believe that? Can you really cast all your cares on Him? Do you trust Him enough to take care of all the details of your life? A lot of times we say we do with our mouths but we end up trying to help God fix the issues of our lives in our proactivity.
Proverbs 3:5-7 says Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
I think you should meditate once again on the scriptures and let God Himself teach you what trust really is. He indeed is our help in ages past.
You are blessed

It now looks as if being here is a monthly affair. Please bear with me for now cos that is not the case.
It has been a wao period for me. For a while now I have been struggling with a decision and I have been wondering………..Why is this not right? What exactly is the way to go? Why is the direction I want to head not the will of God for me for the now?
I had all the signals the time was not right but I was bent on doing what I wanted to do because I thought I was doing it for the right reasons……….Let me be a bit more specific so we can all gain from the experience.
Like you all know I work in KPMG and it has been a big struggle combining my work with any other aspects of my life that I care about e.g. my walk with God, my family comprising of my hubby, son and siblings, serving in the household of God in the unit I felt led to join, etc. My health was also affected up to the extent that I had to undergo some medical procedures to regain my normal health. This is because I have had to work extremely long hours. For me I thought the right thing for me to do was to just leave and then trust that God will make a way for me even though I was yet to get another job so I can continue to support my husband financially. I had applied consistently and vigorously for about a year but nothing was forthcoming which I eventually took to be the hand of God at work to keep me in the right track.
Each time I thought about my decision, I lost my peace and I knew there was something wrong but I could not place it. I still decided to leave but after I did notify my employer of my intention God started to minister to me that He does not define our righteousness by our works, but by our faith in Jesus. He taught me that we can only feel inner peace when we obey the voice of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our utmost goal should always be to work our schedule around God and see Him make everything fall in place. A decision may seem to be the right one at the moment because we see only the now but God knows the future and He keeps preparing us for the best that is to come and that is why our now is the way it is. I also learnt that God will rather require that we trust our ways unto His hands by prayers and see Him work it out instead of being desperate to help Him achieve His purpose. It has not been an easy decision for me but I have decided to give God the final say about every step I have to take. Joseph was a slave in Potiphar’s house and then in the prison for a time before God took him to the palace. Even his scheme of talking to the Pharaoh’s chief cupbearer to talk to Pharaoh about him did not hasten the hand of God to perform his deliverance as the cupbearer forgot about him the moment he left the prison.
What has God been saying to you? What is His priority or will for you for the now? Are you walking in it? It may not seem like the right thing to do but if it is His will then that is THE WAY. Fall in line with His will today and I can assure you that your life will never remain the same again.
You are blessed as you walk this walk along with Him!

Hi there!
It’s been such a long while. I have been away because I had been battling with a decision that I was not sure whether it was time for or not……………..Hmn it has been a very revealing time for me learning that God’s ways are not our ways. Our God is faithful. I think I will save that for my next post.
How has your walk with God been? Do you hear from him? As children of God we sometimes find it difficult to hear God. Not because he is not speaking but because we decide to be far from him by ignoring his communication.
We are able to understand our friend’s, hubby’s, kid’s, etc communication with us because we have taken the time to understand them, their feelings and methods of communing with us. The same way we learn to hear our husbands, kids, friends and family so also we need to develop our communication with God. Like we were taught in Sunday school those days, prayer is meant to be a communication i.e. a 2 way thing. I also confirmed from the dictionary that other words with the same meaning as communication are interaction and exchange of ideas. Therefore prayer is you talking to God and God also talking back to you. You discussing and consulting Him and He filling you back with divine ideas, comfort, love and every message you need for your every day living. Isn’t that great?
My question then is: How do you pray?
Do you give God the chance to talk to and with you or do you just rattle out your concerns to him since He just has to fix them as His word says?
Do you know what his plans are for you?
Do you care to find out what makes him tick on a day to day basis?
Do you care to find out how you can be of help to him?
Do you care to know if you have hurt him?
Do you care to know if he needs you badly to help fix something?
Do you care to ask Him to know what will make Him happy so you can do it?
God has his needs that can only be met by you……………………….He created you for that purpose and He is waiting on you to get the line by line directional map of what to do and how to do it. He needs you to make His Kingdom come here on earth so give him a chance to talk to you.
Like a friend you can see, he misses you when you have been away for a while and it hurts that even when you are back all you want to do is ask and then leave without hearing from Him.
Give the Father a chance to speak and I’m sure your life will never remain the same again.
You are blessed.

A lot of times as Christians we do not think that the power of God, as our faith professes, is for our every day living. We tend to use God only when there is one major problem or the other. In church two Sundays ago, we were challenged to use our faith even in the hold up………to trust God that even if we will not be able to get to where we want to or should be, God will take care of what we are to do. Those of us who live in
That very afternoon I had to go to the office to do a few things and I also wanted to do some cooking which will require going to the market. As soon as I was done with what I had to do in the office, I looked outside and what I saw was a storm. The weather was so gloomy and it was raining heavily. One could not also predict when the rain was going to stop and it was already 3pm in the afternoon. The first thought I had was “how on earth can I go to the market with this kind of weather?’ but then I instantly remembered the fact that I could believe God for the rain to stop and then I did. Can you believe that in the next 10 minutes the rain stopped and off I went for my shopping. I was almost home when the rains started again.
God’s word says ask and it shall be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened unto you ………………………Do you really believe that word? A lot of times we really don’t think God is set to help us in our mundane living…………..but He is. He is ever ready to walk this life with you every step of the way so I implore you to give God a chance to make your life heaven on earth…………Friend let His Kingdom come!!!
Have a great week.

It’s been more than a week that I was here last. The first time I wrote I had thought I will be more regular as I was excited about the whole thing. Procrastination however got a hold of me and it has been tomorrow and then tomorrow and then tomorrow.
Thank God I made it today at last.
What does it mean to seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness……………….I think it means making God and His Kingdom a priority. A while ago Myles Munroe was in my church and he spoke about rediscovering God’s priority. He mentioned that our priority should not be for food, drink, clothing, housing, fulfilment that arises from personal achievement, etc. but God and His Kingdom. This is also exactly what Jesus taught on the mount as recorded in Matthew 6:25 – 34.
What is your priority today? Is it God, His Kingdom or your needs?
Seek God and see Him at work in the daily workings of your life. There is nothing like it.
Shalom!

I can’t believe I could ever do this!
I have always seen myself live with a passion to help others through words of encouragements but not in writing. I have done it so seamlessly that it is now a part of me. People come to me for some counsel or the other but still I have never seen myself as a writer or guru of any sort.
A year ago my husband told me to start a blog site but I declined his offer cos I thot I just didn’t have the time. Just last week he mentioned it again and I thought ‘girl why don’t you give this a try. It could lead you to your passion which is being a help…..especially with regards to instilling kingdom values in this world of ours where there is so much decay’. And then here I am cos I want to so much do the will of Him who sent me. I am not an embodiment of knowledge therefore I’ll appreciate your comments so we can build each other up and in turn the church of God. Hope to hear from you soon.
Ciao.
