Let Thy Kingdom Come!

It’s been about 6 months that I last posted anything here. It’s been a very hectic and interesting period of my life. God has been faithful and I believe He has been preparing me for a greater future. Even though I do not see it, I believe it and I am waiting for the manifestation of his glory in my life.
Hmn………………I got a text from a brother in the course of this week on Matthew 6: 10a and I was struck as if I never heard it before now.
Matthew 6: 10a “Thy Kingdom come”
What does this mean? It means that God the King, your King, my King should take His throne in our heart, life, marriage, home, family, work, office and land.
How many of the facets of your life have you allowed him to rule? Is he really the King of your heart, life, marriage, home, family, relationships, work, office, etc? Can you profess that His Kingdom has come in your life and situation? It is time to consider it and indeed let His Kingdom come.
You are blessed!

What is your priority?

It’s been more than a week that I was here last. The first time I wrote I had thought I will be more regular as I was excited about the whole thing. Procrastination however got a hold of me and it has been tomorrow and then tomorrow and then tomorrow.
Thank God I made it today at last.

What does it mean to seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness……………….I think it means making God and His Kingdom a priority. A while ago Myles Munroe was in my church and he spoke about rediscovering God’s priority. He mentioned that our priority should not be for food, drink, clothing, housing, fulfilment that arises from personal achievement, etc. but God and His Kingdom. This is also exactly what Jesus taught on the mount as recorded in Matthew 6:25 – 34.

What is your priority today? Is it God, His Kingdom or your needs?

Seek God and see Him at work in the daily workings of your life. There is nothing like it.

Shalom!
